Silk tambour chain stitch embroidery on an orange mustard cotton ground. The sophisticated border contrasts with the minimal repeat field design. The fine tambour work of the Suzani appears to be that of the Shahrisabz region although the mustard colour ground is usually associated Jizzakh whose work more reflects that of the style of Khujand.
